I’ve been trying to figure out an easy way to build a charging box. I lack access to power tools so it has to be easy-ish.

Basically, I’m talking about a box which houses a smart power strip  in a bottom section with the power cord sticking out the back and all of my gadgets that require recharging in the top section (fitted with some kind of lid so I don’t have to look at that mess of wires.)

Ikea hacker suggests a good solution. Excellent! Now I can stop wasting energy on idle power adapters!
