Memorial Day weekend is the first weekend that sees the mass exodus of weekend warriors out of Chicago and toward Michigan on 80/94. During my childhood many a summer Friday night were spent stuck in a massive traffic jam on the way out of town.

I think it’s better to just stay in town and relax.
