A Rare Digg from The Science of Apathy
May 3rd, 2007 by Brian
I liked this post so much I actually digged it.
How the Me-generation Ruined Modern Conversation
I rarely digg things. One or two per week usually. In fact, from now on, every blog that I deem diggworthy will get a GOLD STAR.

That’s an amusing post, but half the stuff she writes about has nothing to do with the me-generation. I’ll bet that a hundered years ago there were plenty of failed conversations too. She’s caught in the same self indulgent BS that she sites as the cause- stop blaming the “me generation” and blame the nature of people.
Good call on that, I agree that perhaps her post is incorrectly titled.
It just feels like the abundance of one-sided conversations has increased in recent years (and I’ve been guilty of pitching a few of them, I’ll admit.)
