Earlier this month I decided that NBC’s new show Thank God You’re Here is actually pretty funny. If you’ve never heard of it or don’t know what it’s about then, for god’s sake, Google it.

Although the show was good for a few laughs in its first episodes there was still something awkward about it - something I couldn’t quite put my finger on.

This article on Slate.com pegged it for me though. I don’t think I’ll be able to watch the show anymore unless NBC addresses some of the issues raised in that article. Having done some improv in the past I feel a little ashamed that I didn’t notice these things myself.
